In collaboration with digital agency iThink, the Pixfly Studio developed for Telefonica the game Ultimate ID Championship, an ARG (Alternate Reality Game) played during the Campus Party Brazil 2010 event.
The game uses the same technique used in the famous card game Top Trumps. The player allocate their points and duels with other players online and offline. In the offlein battle arena, which took place at Campus Party between January 26 and 29, each player was given an RFID card containing the user's data and, using an touch-screen display, the player choose an attribute and started the battle.
The winner of the contest won a ticket for Campus Party Madrid. Netbooks, Playstation3, T-shirts and sweatshirts were given for the 100 best players.
At the end of the event there were 822 players, 32,984 games played and 178,000 pageviews. The Ultimate ID championship was considered most talked event at Campus Party Brazil.
